Seth Macfarland's Western Comedy Bombs With Over-the-Top Cast

The much-hyped western comedy 'A Million Ways to Die in the Wood' has left audiences underwhelmed due to its over reliance on crude humor and an all-star cast that fails to save it from sinking like a stone. The film, starring Seth MacFarlane as dim-witted cowpoke Albert, attempts to poke fun at traditional Western tropes but instead comes across as juvenile and predictable.

Macfarlanes' ego seems to be front and center in this disaster of a movie with his signature brand of crude humor failing miserably on screen. The supporting cast includes plenty of big names including Emma Stone, Charlize Theron, and Liam Neeson who all seem like they'd rather be anywhere else than in this mess.

Perhaps MacFarlane will learn from the crushing failure that is 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' but until then audiences are stuck with another lazy attempt at humor from a man whose comedic talents have clearly gone dry. With an impressive cast and budget behind it, you'd expect more from a western comedy from someone as talented (on paper) as MacFarlane.

Instead we get 'A Million Ways to Die in the West', a forgettable waste of time that fails on nearly every level. Avoid this turkey at all costs unless you enjoy watching your brain cells rot away with boredom and disappointment. Even then, there are far better ways to spend an afternoon than subjecting yourself to MacFarlane's brand of unfunny humor.
